My position in the club is the President and I am the founder. What thrived me to create this club was initially to create an active engineering club at pima cc. I decided rocketry because I have this love for space exploration as well and the engineering process of it. Rocketry/Aerospace is a field that requires the most diverse fields of engineering. I enjoy taking the initiative and leading a team of ambitious members who are all working towards the same goal. When I do this, I like to do them well. The kind of impacts I want to make to this club is to keep it running smoothly after I transfer so others after me can enjoy the excitement of building and launching rockets. So students can have a place to network with likeminded individuals. And as for the members, I want to enhance their experience with hand-on projects. Connect students with local employers and hopefully land them a job or employment. It's very important Pima Rocketry Club keeps their creditability so companies and business know that our members know how to build liquid rockets. Or any other role they may take in the club. About myself: I'm an aspiring Mechanical Engineer who loves rockets and space. My future plans consist of innovating the hydrogen fuel cell industry, making more efficient energy systems and hopefully apply that to aerospace and rockets. I love finance. I enjoy building and managing my portfolio of stocks. I take a passive strategy with occasional hedging strategies to protect my portfolio from the downside risk. I'm a big believer in crypto and bitcoin specifically.

I see bitcoin and the only true store of wealth and as digital gold. I hope to have my own fund capital or at least have a holding company as well. I am also running for student senator for the downtown campus. Im a big criticizer in the american education system and the only way I can make true change in it is by having a seat at the table as a student senator. I will propose ideas like to have more transparency in where the revenue is being spent and all students will be able to see how they are exactly. this way, this will incentivise the college to not spend their money anywhere else but in the interest of students. I also have a plan to increase the financial literacy rate of graduates. Its a big problem thats often overlooked. graduates don't understand basic budgeting and finance stuff that they should know to increase their life quality and retirement. Ill speak more on that later... But I was born and raised in tucson AZ and im a first generation to make it past high school and generation to attend college. My family has a background from mexico and are all mostly farmers from Chihuahua from my dads side and Sonora from my mom's. I work full time in Welding and fabrication while doing school fulltime as well. on top of starting and running a club and running and hopefully soon to be student senator. I also like to go to my local MMA gym and attend Muay Thai and Jiu jitsu classes. I hope to enhance my fighting skills. I also like to run. I've completed two annual marathons here in tucson and plan to do my third in december. I can solve a rubik's cube under a minute and I have this love for geography as well. so much so that i memorized every country, every national capital, their location on the map, their flags and ability to identify any country by the shape solely
